IN series, for all High-precision applications
The IN Series is LEM’s most advanced high precision group of current sensors. They can be used for the electronic measurement of current: DC, AC, pulsed..., with galvanic separation between the primary and the secondary circuit.
With its patented and ground-breaking digital integration technology, the IN electronic parts represents a significant evolution of the LEM High Precision sensors portfolio. The IN transducers offer best-in-class performance, with the highest accuracy in the market, and low noise over wide operating temperature range. The IN sensors can be mounted on panels horizontally or vertically.
The IN current sensors are relying on a renovated closed loop Fluxgate technology (LEM patent), enabling their high precision, among other benefits. They find applications not only in the industry but also in settings such as laboratories and medical environments.
New Additions to the IN Series!
LEM is proud to introduce two new high-precision current sensors to the IN Series: the IN 1500-S and the IN 1000-SHF.
IN 1500-S: Designed for 1500A rated current, this sensor offers high accuracy, low noise, and broad frequency bandwidth up to 2MHz. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +50°C and includes overcurrent protection and high stability.
IN 1000-SHF: This sensor features an ultra-wide bandwidth of 2.5MHz and a rapid response time under 1ns. It provides improved electrical offset, temperature drift, and noise levels, making it ideal for high-performance applications. It operates from -40°C to +85°C and includes indicators for normal operation and transducer state.
Both sensors utilize LEM’s advanced fluxgate technology, which guarantees precision and reliability.

FLUXGATE TECHNOLOGY FOR IN SENSORS
The use of fluxgate technology in transducers for precise current measurement is well-known. However, it has some limitations linked to the ripple derived from the excitation voltage. LEM’s innovation takes fluxgate current transducers to previously unachieved performance levels through digital technology.

This digital technology brings many benefits:
Immunity to temperature effects, interference and supply voltage variation
Significant reduction of the ripple from the fluxgate driving signal
