HLSR - Current Sensors
The HLSR Series current sensors are designed for precise electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents, while providing galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits. Based on open‑loop Hall‑effect technology, the HLSR Series delivers reliable and accurate current measurement for a wide range of industrial applications.
The series covers multiple current ranges, including 10, 20, 32, 40, and 50 ARMS, with a measuring capability extending up to 2.5 × Ipn, ensuring high accuracy under dynamic operating conditions. All HLSR sensors are designed exclusively for PCB mounting and are available in two mechanical versions: HLSR‑P for through‑hole mounting and HLSR‑SM for surface‑mount assembly. Their compact and distinctive design occupies only 3.87 cm² of PCB area with a height of 12 mm, making them well suited for space‑constrained designs.
Within the HLSR Series, sensors are available with either analog voltage output or digital output, depending on the variant. Analog versions provide access to a voltage reference and feature low offset and gain drift with short response times. Digital output variants integrate an onboard Sigma‑Delta Modulator and deliver a Pulse Density Modulation (PDM) bitstream, enabling enhanced precision and flexible digital signal processing.
Digital output options within the HLSR Series include 2‑wire CMOS, 2‑wire RS422 Manchester, and 2‑wire LVDS Manchester interfaces, supporting current measurement ranges from 16 ARMS to 50 ARMS. Across all variants, the HLSR Series offers a compact, versatile, and high‑performance solution for accurate, isolated current measurement in modern industrial electronic systems.
